Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CapFlow Booking App ("App", "we", "our", or "us"), a Shopify application for managing bookings and reservations. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

CapFlow Booking App provides capacity-based booking and reservation management for Shopify stores. The App allows merchants to:

  • Define resources with capacity limits
  • Create timeslot-based availability schedules
  • Accept customer bookings through a storefront widget
  • Manage bookings, check-ins, and attendance
  • Process reservations through Shopify checkout

2. Account and Access

To use the App, you must have a valid Shopify store and grant the App necessary permissions through Shopify's OAuth flow. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and ensuring authorized access to the App.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with:

  • All applicable laws and regulations
  • Shopify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
  • These Terms of Service

You may not use the App to:

  • Process fraudulent or illegal transactions
  • Violate the rights of third parties
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

4. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described therein. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your customers for the collection and processing of their booking information.

5. Fees and Billing

The App is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future, with reasonable notice to existing users. Any paid services will be billed through Shopify's billing system.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the App but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App in connection with your Shopify store. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, or operate without interruption. You use the App at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the preceding twelve months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via the email associated with your Shopify account. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles.
